Taxonomic remark From Cleal & Rees, 2003: the type species of Clathraria is C. brardii Brongniart, 1822, which is based on a fragment of stem from a Late Carboniferous arborescent lycophyte, today more normally included in Sigillaria Brongniart, 1822. [details]
