Taxonomic remark A disused and ambiguous name according to Doweld, 2017. Originally ascribed to Fabaceae, latter reassigned to Ulmaceae. Subsequently became a senior synonym of Ulmoxylon when Andrews, 1955, typified that genus, however proposed as a nom. utique. rej. by Doweld, 2017, a proposal that was recommended for acceptance by the Nomenclature Committee for Fossils (Herendeen, 2020).
