Taxonomic remark Listed as Protozoa (presumably: Foraminifera) in Nomenclator Zoologicus; now considered a hydrozoan (Cnidaria), refer Wilmsen, 2003. From that work: The genus Millarella was based by Carter (1888a) on a tangential section of a strongly phosphatised Parkeria from the Cambridge Greensand (see Pl. 2, fig. 11) and, being based on a species that is here regarded as a synonym of the type species of Parkeria, is an objective synonym of Parkeria.
