Unreviewed
Taxonomic remark Paclt, 2009 proposed the replacement name Neolepidothrix for this taxon on the grounds that it was preoccupied by “Lepidothrix” (actually: Lepidotrix) Menge, 1854 (Thysanura), however the two name differ by one letter and are not homonyms, refer Zuccon, 2011, rendering Neolepidothrix a superfluous replacement name. Treated as an available name (nomen protectum) by Zuccon, cf. Lepidothrix Agassiz, 1846 (Coleoptera), an unjustified emendation of Lepitrix Le Peletier de Saint-Fargeau & Serville, 1828, which is considered a nomen oblitum. [details]
