Descriptive info Giglio-Tos 1927 p.554-555 emend. ? (Hallan, 2000-). Listed as an accepted genus with this spelling in Hallan, however in both Neave and in Schwarz & Roy, 2019 as Parymenopus (in the latter treatment, as syn. of Helvia). Giglio-Tos, 1927 used this spelling - presumably as an emendation - of Wood-Mason's original spelling Parymenopus, with attribution to Wood-Mason, however authorship of this name variant correctly belongs to Giglio-Tos.
