Taxonomic remark Not validly published according to Index Nominum Genericorum, but listed as an accepted name in Hoffmann, 1994 and elsewhere. Authority given in Hoffmann as Chen in Chen & Xiao, 1991. Hoffmann assigns this taxon to Eoholyniaceae, however according to Leonov et al., 2009, it is a possible brown alga, assigned to Phaeophyta, Fucales (?). [details]
