Taxonomic remark From WoRMS: This 'genus' was erected under the rules of the Phylocode, which does not recognize ranks or type species. It is unclear if it should be considered a taxon at the genus level as it appears to be a two-genus combination (perhaps technically it is then a (sub)family level taxon). The name is here adopted because it appears in the literature encompassing two named genera Plakortis and Plakinastrella, but its position in the present classification is controversial. [details]
