Taxonomic remark Ichnogenus (fossil burrow associated with Vendian animals). Retallack & Broz, 2020 state: (RE Lamonte trevallis) Lamonte trevallis has been considered a trace of a worm-like metazoan (Chen et al. 2013; Meyer et al. 2014), and of the slug (grex) stage of a cellular slime mould, assembling, moving and sporulating from a terminal bulb (Retallack 2013c).
