Two species of Sarcophaga are revised and their systematic positions are elucidated. Sarcophaga kadeisi Salem belongs to the subtribe Erwinlindneriina and is given a new combination as Beziella (Brasia) kadeisi (Salem, 1938) comb. nov. Sarcophaga austenii Salem belongs to the subtribe Phallanthina and is designated as type-species of new genus, Salemmyia gen. nov. giving the combination Salemmyia austenii (Salem, 1938) comb. nov. For Braunsiella yadvashemia Lehrer, 1995 the new combination Beziella (Brasia) yadvashemia (Lehrer, 1995) comb. nov. is proposed.
