Taxonomic remark Schubnel et al., 2019 state: Eoblatta robusta, type species of the type genus of the type family of the superorder ‘Eoblattida’, which contains an impressive set of families, including the ‘Grylloblattida’ sensu Storozhenko (2002), is in fact an archaeorthopteran. It is absolutely not related to Dictyoptera, Paoliida or the fossil taxa currently included in ‘Grylloblattodea’. The whole concept of the order ‘Eoblattida’ should be reconsidered on the basis of more accurate homologies of the main wing veins, based not only on their relative positions, but also on their relative convexities. [details]
