Taxonomic remark Transferred to new family Serpenomonadidae by Cavalier-Smith, 2016; previously in Peranemaceae. Farmer & Triemer, 1988, considered this genus a synonym of Ploeotia, however this is rejected by Cavalier-Smith, 2016. [details]
