Taxonomic remark As subkingdom of Animalia in older treatments (including Parker, 1982). Present IRMNG treatment follows Ruggiero et al., 2015, in which heterokonts, alveolates, Rhizaria and some other groups are excluded and placed in the separate kingdom Chromista. [details]
