Taxonomic remark Entirely fossil group comprising flask-shaped, organic walled marine microfossils of presently unknown taxonomic affinity; considered by Grahn & Paris, 2010 as reproductive bodies of otherwise unknown marine invertebrates. Treated as either order or "group" above order, with authorship Eisenack, 1931 in contemporary treatments; placed temporarily at phylum level in IRMNG pending additional review of included taxa.
