Taxonomic remark Stemonitis Gleditsch, 1753, with no type designation, was proposed for rejection against Stemonitis Roth, 1788 with the type species S. fusca Roth, however the Committee recommended that Stemonitis Gleditsch, 1753 should be retained, with Roth's S. fusca as type, refer Gams, 1992.
