Taxonomic remark Ostensibly a preoccupied name, replaced by Spiromastigoides Doweld, 2013, however Hirooka et al., 2016 use this name as valid and suggest it should be conserved against Spiromastix Perfiliev, 1929 in algae, if needed. [details]
