Taxonomic remark Wikipedia places the group at suborder rank "for consistency", without specifying consistency with *what*. Given the reluctance of modern paleontology to use Linnaean ranks at all above family, this approach seems misguided and incongruous. The group is here placed at order rank because the next higher rank given is Crocodyliformes, which includes at least one other explicitly order-level group. [details]
