Taxonomic remark Originally described as phyllopod crustacean, later considered a nautiloid operculum, refer Turek, 1978; for present taxonomic placement refer Mironenko, 2021. Genus name established as new in both Barrande, 1872 (according to Rolfe) and Woodward, 1872 (according to Nomenclator Zoologicus); Barrande's publication is taken as the earliest following usage in Rolfe, 1969 and elsewhere.
