Taxonomic remark A soft-bodied, sac-like fossil. Ivantsov et al. (2004, p. 6) argued that the body was ‘soft or composed of sediment particles imbedded into the organic matrix (in the manner of some sponges)’, however according to Antcliffe et al., 2014, it may represent a macroscopic non-metazoan organism such as from Rhizaria or Amoebozoa.
