Taxonomic remark From Gaffney et al., 2006: Eusarkia was synonymized with Taphrosphys by Antunes and Broin (1988), Broin (1988), and Lapparent de Broin (2000a), but the relevant characters have a wider distribution than the genus Taphrosphys ... The type of [type species] Eusarkia rotundiformis is resolved in a multichotomy with Taphrosphyini. [details]
